About the Book :
The book is a collection of 11 research papers of the author’s himself. About the Author
Dr. Debesh Bhowmik (Debes Chandra Bhaumik) obtained B.A. (Honours) and M.A. in Economics (Econometrics as special paper) degrees from Kalyani University, West Bengal. He completed his Ph.D. (on Feasibility of India-led Asian Economic Bloc) from Rabindra Bharati University (Kolkata). He has written 10 books and edited four books in which two books as co-editor. He has published more than 200 articles in national and international journals and edited books. He is a life member of Indian Economic Association, Bengal Economic Association, Economic Association of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand Economic Association and The Indian Econometric Society. He was an ex-Associated Editor of Arthabeekshan—the journal of Bengal Economic Association. He was also an editorial member of Arthik Prasanga (Kolkata), (a Bengali Journal). His paper was accepted in the conference of the International Economic Association in Moscow in 1993. His paper was awarded a gold medal as the best paper writer in the conference of Indian Economic Association in 2006. He was also awarded as the best paper writer at Vidyasagar University in 2016 and in St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in 2019. He is an Honorary Rosalind Member of London Journals Press. Now, he is an Honorary Research Professor of Lincoln University College, Malaysia.
