Dr. Kumari Manisha is post-graduated from B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar). She is a topper and gold medallist in masters in economics. She has been awarded a degree of Doctorate on the topic “A Study of Women Employment Ratio in Different Sectors of the Economy with Special Reference to Bihar”. She has done a dissertation on the Analysis of Economic Theories and Policies. The book edited by her on “Education, Health and Employment in India—Issues and Challenges”. Her performance in various international, national and state-level conference seminars and workshop at various places have been noteworthy. She has been a very active member of The Indian Economic Association, the Indian Society of Labour Economics as well as Economic Association of Bihar. She has many research papers and chapters published in coveted journals and books of international and national repute. She has participated in and presented papers at national and state-level conferences and seminars. Dr. Manisha presently holds the post of academic co-ordinator (North) the most prestigious, oldest and largest organization The Indian Economic Association (IEA). Recently, she has conveyed fifteen days research methodology course and co-ordinate UGC NET preparatory course organized by The Indian Economic Association as a convenor. She has also conveyed a two days national conference on New Education Policy—2020 organized by IEA. For their outstanding contribution to the field of economics, she has been awarded the “Gyanchand Academic Excellence Award” 2017 by The Indian Economic Association.
