    Dr. Asim K. Karmakar is currently Assistant Professor in Economics, School of Professional Studies, Netaji Subhash Open University, Kalyani, West Bengal (Formerly Assistant Professor Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He is presently the Executive Member of the IEA) and formerly the EC member of TIES; formerly the Managing Editor (2011-2014) of Artha Beekshan. He has completed four minor research projects sponsored by the CAS, Jadavpur University and the UGC. He has written several co-edited and edited book published by Springer as well as research articles published by Springer and IGI Global. He has contributed more than 100 research papers in reputed journals at home and abroad, and written books on different fields of economics. Titles include Balance of Payments Theory and Policy: The Indian Experience, Capital Account Convertibility in India (Co-edited), Analytical Issues in Trade, Development and Finance (Co-edited), Rural Livelihoods in India (co-edited etc). Dr. Karmakar has co-authored eight text books Over and above he has received two national and one international academic awards.

    Dr. Mou Roy is currently Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. She obtained her M.Phil degree from Calcutta University and Ph.D degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Her area of Specialization is Microeconomic Theory, Statistics and Econometric, also Mathematical Economics. Her major area of academic interest includes Social Sector, Labour and Gender. Teaching Experience: 21 years in undergraduate level (Honours and General). Research Experience: 14 years.

    Dr. Samarjit Das is Economist-cum-Credit Planner, Government of West Bengal. He has more than 13 years of Planning, Managing and Consultancy experiences at Government and Corporate levels. He secured his Ph.D degree from Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has already published a good number of research papers in referred journals.
