Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Kumar Shandilya, presently the Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi is a dynamic personality with multi-faceted experience in academics and administration. Dr. Shandilya’s profile has a stint of over 30 years of academic experience. Prior to joining DSPMU, he also served as the Vice-Chancellor of Nalanda Open University, Patna, as well as Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara, Bihar. He was also the Professor of Economics cum the Principal of College of Commerce, Arts & Science under Patliputra University, Patna. His dedication and commitment towards his work is unparalleled. Having a prolific teaching experience of more than thirty years, he has mentored several research scholars as supervisors culminating into the award of Ph.D. degree. He has published more than 100 research papers in journals of repute and has also authored many books which are available on the digital platforms. Besides this Dr. Shandilya was a former President of Indian Economic Association and is presently the President of Commerce & Management Association (CMA) and Bihar Economic Association. Dr. Shandilya was adorned with Life Time Achievement Award 2022 by His Excellency Governor of Jharkhand in the annual conference of Indian Economic Association. Dr. Shandilya is a proud winner of “Pride of Asia Award”. This award was conferred to Dr. Shandilya in Asian Leaders Conference, Bhutan on 22 June 2018.
Dr. Rahul Deo Sah is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Application and Information Technology, at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Sah is a life member of the Computer Society of India, and the Indian Science Congress. He is a member of Research Foundation of India. Dr. Sah is also the RFI chapter head for Jharkhand State. Dr. Sah is a life member of InSc, India. He has authored around twenty-five articles in different international and national journals and conferences. Dr. Sah received the International Award for Think Tank in Technical Education on January 3, 2020. Dr. Sah has been selected for The World’s Prestigious “Global Educational Award 2020″ on Teacher’s Day Special Award 2020: “BEST ACADEMICIAN” by ESN Publications, Chennai for their outstanding excellence and remarkable achievements in the fields of teaching, research, and publications. Dr. Sah has been selected for world’s prestigious “Young Scientist Award 2022” awarded by “IJIEMR ELSEVIER SSRN” indexing. Dr. Sah was appointed as a judge and evaluator for the All-India Council for Technical Education, Government of India, Toychathon and Hackathon events in India. He is a coordinator of STP IIT Bombay.
Dr. Tanya Sharma, M.A. (Economics), Ph.D. has been an outstanding student with interest in the economic condition of Bihar in particular and the national and international economic scenario in general. Tanya has witnessed different economic policies on the part of the Government and has comprehended the problems at the level of their execution. Tanya is contributing to the upliftment of the economic condition of nation be it at the policy level or at the level of execution through her academic writings and activities. Tanya has a brilliant academic career and she has contributed the economic fraternity of the nation by participating in different conferences and seminars. She is life member of several prestigious associations and has contributed a number of research papers in leading national and international journals.
