The Book
The current book Tribal Women in the Democratic Political Process : A Study of Tribal Women in the Dooars and Terai Regions of North Bengal is the product of my personal experience while interacting with numerous tribal women at the ground level. Through this book I have endeavored to share my interactions with the tribal women who have experienced political power for the first time. I tried to gather information which laid emphasis on various positive and negative impacts of power on these women. This study would help to formulate a path to provide guidelines for formulating new ideas and directions for uplift of the downtrodden masses of our society.
